Flashback 2008: Making History

It was truely a year or history not just for me, not just for our CG but also our Nation and the World. Early in the year the politically areana of the nation was burning hot, it couldn’t have gotten hotter. It was hot yet very peaceful in most general terms.

The government that ruled and reigned for over 50years almost fell, as most of them had fallen of their seat giving them to the opposition which surprised the whole nation by winning the best states in Malaysia execpt Johor. Namely they won Kelantan, Perak, Kedah, Penang and Selangor. I stayed up the whole night reading the score and when i read “Selangor Fell, Selangor Fell to opposition” it was time for bed. Flashback 2006

This year was the last year and final years of school life, there was no more option to return back to school, I’ve already extended my school years by two because of Form 6 and there was only Uni to look forward too. I had to make the most out of it this year. It was also the toughest year of all my school life as far as I could ever remember.

It was the year the preasure was so intense, I just felt like dropping out of Form 6… but it’s not just me, almost everyone in Form 6 felt the same. The first half of the year was crazy, depressing and stressful. The second half of the year we managed to regain vision and our mission of being here, so there was a direction and that was our main focus to finish Form 6 better than we ever did in Form 5. Yes there was no regret of doing Form 6, I loved school life -miss it very much with all my friends that came by my way. I’ve also learnt to “study” *laughs never really knew what study was till Form 6, then I’ve also learnt to handle stress pretty well, Form 6 was a good experience.
