Mission Trip to Raub with CG #1

It was a fantastic morning to wake up on. Packed my bags and left for church. Yes… I have the van permit and I’ll be driving to Raub at least then SamLim would take over. Had the van loaded but we did leave a bit later than scheduled. It was quite fun to drive a van, especially a long one.

Anyway it took us quite a while to reach, we stopped by Bentong for their famous Ice Kacang, but i had Ice-Cream, ohh my its was so lovely. It was different, thanks SamLim. Then we stopped by for lunch which hmm… took us quite a while to decide where to park. *laughs those who came along would know. Finally, “dun-care-la” park on the bridge.

CG with HF

More pictures click here.

Ever since Puchong CG begun, we have been growing and expanding, we have always been move a step forward and taking step in obedience to God by faith. Since we begun, i’ve never imagine we would have such a gather as this. A combine gathering of Puchong CG (youth ministries) with Puchong HF (adults).

I think, we’re are the first of our kind. Most cases youth would be like… “ohh no” or “eEee..with Adults, boring”, but we chose to put those aside desipite our difference. Some of us even had our parents around and yes thats what a church should be. Family together.

Here we are, with our parents and uncles from Puchong. No the myth of boring wasn’t there. Yes probably it was a bit awkward but we sure did have fun. Yes we were different but we could all still laugh about the same thing.

Flashback 2008: Making History

The government that ruled and reigned for over 50years almost fell, as most of them had fallen of their seat giving them to the opposition which surprised the whole nation by winning the best states in Malaysia execpt Johor. Namely they won Kelantan, Perak, Kedah, Penang and Selangor. I stayed up the whole night reading the score and when i read “Selangor Fell, Selangor Fell to opposition” it was time for bed. The picture above was taken the day after elections when who whole Selangor and its strong neighbors belonged to the opposition.
